Capitalization

  • Write in the capital letters is called Capitalization. 
Rules of Capitalization:
  • Names or titles of people.
  • Names of mountains, mountain ranges, hills and volcanoes.
  • Names of bodies of water (rivers, lakes oceans, seas, streams and creeks).
  • Names of buildings, monuments, bridges and tunnels.
  • Names of streets, schools, colleges and universities.
  • Names of countries, cities and towns.
  • The first letter in a sentence.
  • Pronoun I.

 Examples:

1. Fist letter in a sentence.


2. Proper nouns.


3. Names of God, specific deities, religious figures and holy books.


Advantages:
  • By using this we can easily identify the starting of sentences and proper nouns. 
  • Better Readability.
